The RM36-01, a collaborative creation with acclaimed French rally driver Sébastien Loeb, stands as a testament to his unmatched success in the World Rally Championship, boasting a remarkable nine consecutive victories. Introduced in 2014, this timepiece was produced in a limited edition of 30 units at a retail price of $625,000.
At the heart of this timepiece lies a pivotal rotary G-force sensor, intricately linked to the bezel and sapphire glass. Capable of detecting G-forces up to 6 G’s, it provides a crucial safety measure for drivers. A clear scale distinguishes between safe (green zone) and critical (red zone) decelerations. Resetting to zero is effortlessly achieved with a single press of the central pusher located at the center of the dial. Comprising over 50 meticulously crafted components, the 17 mm G-sensor can be manually adjusted to align with the wearer's movements by rotating the brown ceramic bezel. This feature allows drivers to monitor lateral deceleration as well as longitudinal forces encountered during a typical rally circuit.
Encased within a 47 mm framework constructed from cutting-edge carbon nanotubes and titanium, and equipped with a manual-winding tourbillon movement, we are pleased to offer this robust timepiece complete with its original accessories.
