A very large cloisonné enamel 'floral' vase, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period | 清乾隆 掐絲琺瑯開光雙龍耳大瓶

Grand in stature and sumptuously decorated, the present vase showcases the great technical advancements made in the 18th century in the production of cloisonné ware. Compare a similar Qianlong mark and period vase in the Pierre Uldry Collection, included in the exhibition Chinesisches Cloisonné.
