A Regency Brass-Inlaid Mahogany Tall Case Domestic Regulator, by Adey B Savory, London, Circa 1820
12-inch silvered dial with outer minute ring enclosing subsidiary seconds and hours dials and signed Savory, Cornhill, London, the movement with dead beat escapement and Harrison's maintaining power, rack striking on a bell, shouldered plates, the case with lancet top and spire finials above a glazed lancet-shaped trunk door flanked by brass-capped fluted pilasters, the panelled plinth with a plain base, the hood and trunk inlaid with stringing and quatrefoils
