Nike Dunk Low Premium SB ‘Joker’ Sample | Size 9

Rumored to be a part of a 'Villains Pack', a similar Joker sample made headlines in 2008, drawing inspiration from the famous Batman supervillain ‘The Joker.’ 

2008, the release year of the Oscar-winning ‘The Dark Knight’, starring Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker, seemed to make for an opportune time to release the shoe. However, for reasons unknown, the pair never hit store shelves, remaining one of the most rare and sought-after SBs in existence. 

Marked as a 2009 sample, this pair features a combination of purple and green suede and nylon materials and sits atop a white midsole. The mid panel sports a flannel pattern, drawing similarities to the Joker’s costume. 

In 2008, a previous sample surfaced that featured a similar look, however, the design featured a denim material on the upper of the shoe. Additionally, it had a black midsole, and a different material and flannel pattern on the mid panel.
