Nike Dunk High ‘Beautiful Losers’ | Size 9

In 2008, the film ‘Beautiful Losers’ debuted at the IFC Center in New York. The film chronicled the lives of several hip-hop and graffiti artists and their associated subcultures of skateboarding, surfing, and punk. To celebrate this special release, Jesse Leyva from Nike designed a collection of 22 pairs of Dunks, each featuring a unique digital print of significant moments from the movie on the uppers. Some of the pairs were auctioned off, with profits donated to the Children's Aid Society.

This pair features a tongue tag that reads ‘Start a Movement’ on the exterior, and ‘1 of 1’ embroidered on the interior side of the tongue.  

The left shoe, labeled ‘Beautiful Loser 7’ on the sample hang tag, features graffiti imagery on the lateral side, and what appears to be a park landscape on the medial side. 

The right shoe, ‘Beautiful Loser 33’ features an abstract grey-to-blue gradient image throughout.
