10 photos from the 'I'm Going Slightly Mad' video shoot, February 1991

(19.2 x 19.0cm and 28.4 x 20.1cm), with note from Lipsey Meade PR, ‘If you’d like any of them printed to a larger size please ask Phoebe to call me. Best wishes Lucy x’, in envelope addressed to F. Mercury, Garden Lodge

'I'm Going Slightly Mad' was recorded for Innuendo and released as the album's second single. It was written primarily by Freddie (many of the one-liners were composed during a laughter-filled evening with Peter Straker), although, as with all songs on Queen's final albums, it was credited to Queen. The video was shot in February 1991 at Limehouse Studios. Costumes were styled by Diana Moseley, including Freddie's signature pointy shoes. The video was largely shot in black and white, and Freddie wore thick clothing and makeup as well as a wig, see lots 279 and 2309.
