(qty 4)

The video for ‘We Will Rock You’, one of Queen’s greatest anthems, was originally shot as an afterthought. Queen had just completed the video for 'Spread Your Wings' and decided to produce an additional video for 'We Will Rock You', even though it had not yet been selected for release as a single.

In an interview with Billboard, Roger Taylor described how the shoot came to be outside on a cold winter’s day: “ We shot it on the grounds of a country house I'd just bought in Surrey and we hadn't completed the sale, so we weren't allowed in the house. We figured, 'we might as well shoot it here.' It was absolutely freezing cold and we did three takes.”

Freddie is also photographed wearing this bomber jacket standing at the shore of lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland close to his Duck House home in the late 1970s.
