Freddie Mercury's stage-worn white catsuit and ballet shoes, worn on tour, 1976-77
A plain white sleeveless and footless elastane catsuit with plunging v-shaped neckline, unlabelled; and a pair of black leather ballet shoes with black elasticated strap across the bridge of the foot, the leather soles stamped ‘FREED, London’ and size: ‘8’ (unused)

Freddie frequently wore white catsuits on stage between 1976 and 1977. Three examples of this favoured stage garment are included in this auction (see lots 169 and 178).
Lot 159 includes a black and white photograph of Freddie on stage wearing a white sleeveless catsuit.
