Freddie Mercury's 'Mineshaft' vest - 'Don't Stop Me Now', promotional video, 1979
A black vest printed in silver with the image of a miner supporting the word ‘Mineshaft’, labelled ‘Lee-Mark’, worn in the promotional video for ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ (1979), filmed at the Forest National Arena, Brussels, 26 January 1979, with the black leather jacket in lot 203, which was also worn in the ‘Crazy Little Things Called Love’ video and on the cover of The Game album, 1980.
This vest can also be seen in the 2011 BBC documentary ‘Queen – Days Of Our Lives’, and captured in photographs by Richard Young of Freddie at the ‘Crazy Hats' party, Legends Nightclub, London, 13 December 1979
