A black leather biker-jacket with black zig-zag stitching overall simulating patchwork, with two white metal buckle fastenings to either side of waist, press stud fastening to collar and lapels, left arm with small press stud pocket (labelled ‘CAMPRI’), white metal zips to four front pockets, cuffs and front fastening, red nylon quilted lining with black leather label to inside neck gilt-stamped ‘VOLTA, by Howard Stone, Genuine Leather, Campri’; a pair of black vinyl jean-style trousers, unlabelled but with white paper size tag attached to belt loop, the right front pocket with interior paper label stitched to seam inscribed ‘4/34’ [the right hand side, front and back, have traces of red vinyl residue where these trousers were possibly stored next to the red vinyl trousers, a red cotton T-shirt, the front with white logo ‘Body Sport’, labelled ‘Body Shop’; and a pair of red suede lace-up shoes, the insole stamped ‘WALKERS’, size 7 ½ [light wear]

This jacket can be seen in photographs taken by Peter Hince, one of which was used for the front cover of the single ‘Play The Game’, 1980, and another on the inside sleeve of The Game album, 1980 (it is not possible to identify if the red T-shirt worn in these photographs is the same as that included in this lot); the jacket was also worn in photographs taken in Tokyo, February 1981.
