A T-Shirt with Freddie Mercury’s hand-drawn signed artwork for an unusual ‘Queen’ logo, 1978


A long-sleeved ivory cotton T-shirt decorated with hand-drawn (probably stencilled) illustrated lettering - 5cm high, in black ink spelling ‘QUEEN’ from a design of naked women in yoga poses, initialled ‘FM’ – this initialled hand drawn artwork appears to be the only known example of this Freddie ‘Queen’ design; a Neal Preston photograph from the ‘Jazz ‘Tour of North America, 1978 shows Mary Austin wearing this T-shirt sitting beside Freddie on an airplane
