Showa period, 20^th century

the first a deep bowl with inverted rim, decorated in gilt on a green ground with stylised lotus flowers and leaves, the interior in underglaze blue with a roundel of a carp in tempestuous waters, black lacquer hinged cover with silvered mounts; the second a tureen and cover in similar palette, decorated with archaic birds and clouds, flattened finial
