Description
Freddie Mercury’s arrow vests & catsuit made for the Hot Space tour, 1982
Three white ribbed cotton vests hand stencilled front and back with arrow designs, one in red, black and yellow, one in red and black, labels removed and one with a black arrow and orange and red flame design, labelled ‘Jockey’; a three-quarter-length white elastane sleeveless, footless catsuit, hand-drawn overall in coloured felt pen with arrows in pink and red outlined in black, unlabelled, not stage worn
(4)
These arrow vests are typical of the type of arrow-themed costume Freddie had made for the Hot Space Tour, 1982; to date these vests have not been photo-matched to any of the stage-worn vests, though it is possible some may have been worn on stage but not photographed
