Wylie and Lochhead were a Scottish firm of furniture manufacturers based in Glasgow. They were established in 1883 on Buchanan Street and offered a wide variety of services including undertaking, cabinetmaking, furnishing, upholstering, paperhangings and paperstaining. Despite fires at their premises forcing them to move, they expanded their business and by the 1890s, their cabinetmaking business was not only the largest in Scotland but was also pioneering Scottish avant-garde design alongside more traditional furniture styles.
