the scrolled arm supports above an ebonised panel with a parquetry fan motif, the apron with a cross-banded rosewood border on outsplayed legs, the pink silk upholstery printed with 'snakeskin' floral patterns together with a pair of maple tub chairs, with similar upholstery

The settee: 89 by 249.5 by 62.5cm., 35 by 98¼ by 24⅝in.

Acquired by Freddie for his apartment on Rue de Bon-Port, Montreux
