This bottle is among the first of the A.H. Hirsch line to carry a 16-year-old age statement. Around the same time this whiskey was bottled, most of the remainder was placed in steel tanks to stop the aging process. There were multiple bottlings of this particular expression, some with a clean wax line, others with a significant drip. All are near-priceless examples of this storied line of bourbon.
