Similar to, but even rarer than, the 16-year-old squat bottle of A.H. Hirsch with a black wax closure is this bottle, with a gold-wax closure. Like the squat black-wax bottles, it comes in at a lower proof than many of its predecessors. It is almost impossible to find today, and would stand as a signature trophy in an A.H. Hirsch collection.
