Rolex released the reference 126000 in 2020 as a replacement of the 116000. The new model is equipped with the calibre 3230, which can also be found in the 41mm Submariner introduced on the same year.
The new Oyster Perpetual was introduced with 7 different dials including 5 of them with bright playful colours.
The watch was an absolute instant success with unprecedented years-long waiting lists. Out of the 5 colours, the so-called ‘Tiffany-blue’ dial is the collector’s favourite. It has been the most coveted version since its introduction. Securing one is an ambitious project. Also, the appearance at auction of this example in prestine condition and coming with its full set of accessories is a great opportunity for someone willing to acquire what some consider as the most desirable 36mm Rolex of the contemporary production.
