Most waterproof complicated watches are not considered as user friendly. Indeed, they usually require to unscrew pushers. The owner usually end up not using the complication. This is typically the case with chronographs. Jaeger-LeCoultre invented the alternative Compressor key system. With this innovation, only by a single half-turn of the compression key, the crown or the pusher can be fully opened or closed.
This patented improvement allows collectors to fully enjoy their water-resistant watches in all circumstances.
This present sport chronograph benefits from that technology. It was made as a limited edition to celebrate the Italian motorcycle racing World Champion Valentino Rossi, whose number was 46 during his entire career.
