IWC has released some special pieces to celebrate its brand ambassador Zinedine Zidane. This edition of 500 pieces was launched in 2010. The celebrated football player was personnaly involved in the design of the watch.
The watch has a 7-day power reserve thanks to its large barel powered by the highly efficient Pellaton automatic system. The stainless steel case is adorned by a dark chocolate brown dial bearing a bright red 10 index, the number of Zinedine Zidane. Two minutes are also marked in red: 27th and 45th. They celebrate the moments Zidane scored his two goals during the final at the 1998 World Cup against Brazil.
