First introduced in 1996, the Cartier Tank Francaise is the result of the quest of designing a curved square case. The dial is typical of the Tank and the case has these two "bancards", the strong vertical bezel prolonged by the lugs. The curved lines of the case create an harmonious integration of the bracelet or the strap around the wrist.

This Tank Française Reference 1830, which was the men’s size, is fitted with the famous chronoflex, a quartz movement that equipped some of the most popular models of the 1990’s and 2000’s. This lot was the most luxurious version with its full gold case and bracelet and diamond-set bezel and crown.
