The Reference 3947 Rattrapante is powered by a Lemania 2320 base movement, one of the most celebrated column-wheel chronograph movements produced at the time. Breguet modified the movement to create a split-seconds chronograph complication. Interestingly, Patek Philippe is the only other brand to modify the 2320 movement in this way for their Reference 5004.

Dressed in a white gold case, this lot retains all of the visual DNA of the atelier such as a fine coin edged case band and classic proportions to the guilloché dial. As such, it is also in the pure spirit of the creations developed by Daniel Roth.

A modern, sapphire display back shows this complicated movement and displays the watch's unique serial number.

This watch is in impeccable condition after having been serviced by Breguet in March 2023. Unlike most of these pieces, this present lot is accompanied by its Certificate of Origin, further enhancing its desirability.
