The 1950s is the golden era of Van Cleef and Arpels. While the jewellery pieces are well known to the public, VCA also produced some elegant and precious timepieces in collaboration with established Manufactures, such as the present lot. The work on the bracelet looking like a succession of leaves with a diamond suggesting a flower is of the highest quality. The decorated case is also highlighted by the diamond-set bezel demonstrating all the savoir-faire of the Maison.
This beautiful watch features an eagle head in contoured frame hallmark, suggesting that the case was manufactured in France.
