Excellent level and appearance; Excellent niveau et apparence

84% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, an atypical composition for VCC. 13.7% alcohol. 40 hl/hectare made this year. No saignée. But all these details pale into insignificance beside this sublime wine, with its incredible mosaic of flavours. Amazing. No wonder Alexandre Thienpont smiled as one tasted this! This collection spans the 1980s to 2010 and is in truly excellent condition, testament to the quality of the meticulously maintained underground climate-controlled storage. All bought from Sotheby's Wine Department in London, it includes such gems as Lafite 1998 in Imperial, a case of Haut Brion 2000 in bottle and a multi-format Superlot of Pichon Baron 2010.
