Launched in 1985, the Cartier Pasha was and still is a unique model in the field of diving watches. Gerald Genta, who designed the Pasha gave it a unique and versatile look. With its loud, bold appearance the Pasha embodies the spirit of the 80s, while still retaining elegant features such as the sapphire-cabochon-crown. At the same time it is water resistant up to 100m. It features Genta's iconic moon phase which was a key feature of his homonym brand. This, according to Mrs. Genta, was the proof of the great relationship between the designer and Cartier.
The present ref. 30003 not only features this iconic blue subsidiary moon phase, but also a perpetual calendar powered by a quartz movement. It combines characteristics that make a great watch: highly sophisticated watchmaking, utilitarianism and elegance.
