Emerald and diamond necklace, early 20th century

Designed as a series of graduated openwork navette-shaped links, set with cushion-shaped, circular and rose-cut diamonds, the centre enhanced with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 4.30 carats, a collet-set circular-cut diamond drop suspended below, length approximately 375mm.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 101283, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures.
