Of fine open work lace-like design accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 160mm, signed M. Buccellati, Italian maker's marks.

This bangle is an example of Buccellati's tulle technique, an innovative and highly complex style. Almost a month is needed for goldsmiths to create the iconic honeycomb texture of the Italian maison. They meticulously work and pierce the gold by hand in order to shape minute hexagonal cells, giving the finished result a certain lightness and elegance which could not be achieved without the master craftsmanship of the Buccellati workshops.
