Mansfield Park: A Novel. Printed For T. Egerton, 1814


3 volumes, 12mo (185 x 110 mm). Half-titles, 1pp. publisher's advertisements at end of volume III for the second editions of Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice; volume I with a few closed marginal tears, minor and scattered foxing, F1 with spot of browning affecting integrity of the margin, longer tear repaired to Q1, final gathering loose but holding with some marginal worming; volume II with very occasional and scattered foxing; volume III with occasional and scattered spotting, gathering F incorrectly bound but with all pages present. Original blue-gray paper-covered boards with darker blue-green paper spines, originally devoid of labels (as the Rhiwlas copy) with title and volume number on each spine in contemporary manuscript; extremities rubbed, chips to spines, joints weak but chords holding. Housed in custom blue morocco-backed case and folding chemise.
