the cavetto of each painted with a native Russian bird and tree, the borders painted with a pan-slavic geometric motif in blue, green, red and beige intersected with pictorial sections depicting rural and winter scenes, each marked on the reverse with factory mark and Tiffany & Co. dedication and also numbered 26/273 in red, the plates individually named for each bird: Seray, Partridge, Snipe and Heath Cock
