cast and chased in grisly manner as the head of a bogatyr, his wind-blown beard and moustache covering the drawn sword which has severed his head, the wick emerging from the plumed crest of an enveloping helmet studded with gold-mounted cabochon garnets, struck under base with workmaster’s initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard
