Nike SB Dunk High Pro ‘Strawberry Cough’ Sample | Size 9

Designed by illustrator Todd Bratrud, in 2021 Nike released the Nike SB Dunk High 'Strawberry Cough', a nod to the cannabis strain bearing the same name. 

Exceptionally unique, this 2019-dated sample features a variety of differences compared to the 2021 release. Boasting a predominantly red leather upper speckled with yellow, mimicking the seeds of a strawberry, the shoe's toe box features nubuck, while the Swoosh and heel panels showcase a plush suede material. The midsole and outsole are also color-blocked in the red and green colors. The iconic strawberry coughing image, also seen in the retail version, is adorned on each lateral heel. Noteworthy differences include a difference in materials and the OSKI branding on the tongue tag.

With the sample hangtag still attached, this unique pair provides a rare glimpse into Nike’s design process.
