Nike Air Presto X ‘Logos’ Sample by Mark Smith | Size 11

In September 2017, the Nike Air Presto X made its debut as a standout piece in Nike's ‘Doernbecher Freestyle’ Collection. Nike also offered the unique opportunity to personalize a pair during the Marker’s Experience in NYC, where one could craft a distinctive Presto X and leave with the creation on the same day. 

Leading the initiative was Mark Smith, Nike’s VP of Innovation Special Projects, who designed this version of the Presto X. The pair features a white upper adorned with Nike logos used throughout the years. Additionally, there are nods to sports legends like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Ken Giffey Jr., and more. 

The Nike Air Presto was first released in the year 2000. Designed by Tobie Hatfield, Kevin Hoffer and Bob Mervar, the Air Presto introduced a revolutionary approach to sneaker design with its minimalist, sock-like fit and lightweight construction. The distinctive TPU cage enhances stability while adding a modern edge to the silhouette. The flexible and durable outsole features strategic grooves, promoting natural movement and traction on various surfaces.
