This Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘Roll With The Winners’ sample nods to the iconic Nike athlete, LeBron James. A big contributor to LeBron’s success is his self-proclaimed inner circle “The Four Horsemen”. Comprising of LeBron, Maverick Carter, Rich Paul, and Randy Mims, the team was formed through longtime friendships and business prowess, and the “Roll With The Winners” slogan is shared by his crew.  

The design features a white leather upper, with embossed words such as “RESPECT”, “LOVE”, AND “HUSTLE” throughout. As an homage to the iconic slogan, “RWTW” is embossed into the heel of each sneaker respectively. Additionally, “CREW ONLY PROPERTY OF RWTW NOT FOR RESALE” is stamped on the sockliner. 

The Air Force 1, arguably Nike’s most iconic sneaker, is in many regards, the first of its kind. Previously realized in running shoes, the introduction of Nike’s ‘Air’ technology in the midsole was a revolutionary concept for basketball sneakers. Tasked with bringing the concept to life, designer Bruce Kilgore and an aerospace engineer brought the project to fruition with a hiking boot inspired, ankle strapped, high top. Kilgore’s first basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1 was brought to market in 1982.
