Description

NIKE, NIKE AIR FORCE 1, SIZE 11.5

Rubber, Leather, Cotton, Synthetic

DJ Clark Kent and Nike commemorated “The List” with a limited-edition Nike Air Force 1 Low. With a history of collaborations, including the renowned 112 Pack, DJ Clark Kent’s involvement in the sneaker world is well-established. The mismatched design sports a multicolored, pebbled leather upper with mini Swooshes on the lateral sides. “FRIENDS” and “FAMILY” text is featured on the lateral heels respectively. Additionally, “GODs” and “Favorite” text is embroidered on the heel tabs, and DJ Clark Kent’s logo and “#TheLIST” can be found on the tongue tags. This highly detailed pair is completed with a classic white midsole and gum outsole.

In an effort to build a community around the release, Clark wrote: “You may notice your shoes are mis-matched. You can wear them as is, or… somewhere in the world, there is a match to be made. If you would like to try to make a matching pair, simply email. We will try to facilitate a trade. We hope you enjoy & wear the kicks!!!”

The Air Force 1, arguably Nike’s most iconic sneaker, is in many regards the first of its kind. Previously realized in running shoes, the introduction of Nike’s “Air” technology in the midsole was a revolutionary concept for basketball sneakers. Tasked with bringing the concept to life, designer Bruce Kilgore and an aerospace engineer brought the project to fruition with a hiking boot-inspired, ankle-strapped high top. Kilgore’s first basketball sneaker, the Air Force 1, was brought to market in 1982.
