This vivid thangka depicts Vajradhara and consort above, flanked by Kalachakra and Hevajra, Nairatmya and Khadga Dakini to the left, Kechari and Maitri Dakini to the right, with Namasangiti, Yogambara and the palace of Green Tara below.

Compare a Nepalese Hevajra in the Jucker Collection, inscribed with a date of samvat 975 (1855), illustrated in Hugo Kreijger, Kathmandu Valley Painting: The Jucker Collection, Boston, 1999, no. 31, sold in these rooms, 28th March 2006, lot 41.
