Late Ming dynasty
明末 銅鎏金佛坐像連蓮花座一組三尊
Overall height 14⅛ in., 36 cm (6)
Height of Buddha figures: 8⅛ in., 20.6 cm
Acquired in Hong Kong, circa 1960, and thence by descent.
It is rare to find a set of late Ming figures of Buddha preserved in such good condition, complete with their original stands. They depict Shakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha and Bhaishajyaguru.
