Honor the past and experience a peak into the future with a behind-the-scenes construction tour of Robert Mondavi Winery. Celebrate this transformational journey from past to present as the winery prepares for future generations. As witness to this landmark event, you’ll also receive an exclusive invitation to the grand re-opening, a special bottle to commemorate the occasion and an extraordinary al fresco dinner at Arch & Tower, Robert Mondavi Winery’s reimagined hospitality experience at the historic Borreo Building on the Napa River. Your hosts will be Robert Mondavi Winery winemaker Kurtis Ogasawara and Schrader Cellars winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. The dinner will be a celebration of the quality and range of the To Kalon Vineyard, explored through the lenses of these two amazing winemakers.  

A selection of library wines spanning the decades as well as current releases will be featured, complemented by a delectable dinner from Jeff Mosher, Robert Mondavi Winery’s chef. You and nine guests will begin the evening with a 45-minute hors d’oeuvres and sensory experience. The five-course dinner will be served al fresco (indoors if during winter months)—where you’ll enjoy a final winetasting under the stars.   

To Kalon Vineyard (ancient Greek for “The Beautiful”) is a first-growth vineyard located in Oakville. It is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in the world, as well as for its Sauvignon Blanc grapes. When selecting this special vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley as the home for his winery, Robert Mondavi remarked, “It was a vineyard with a distinguished history and a magical nature. Ideal soils, sunlight and rain—to my eye, the vineyard was a treasure.”
