the casket, rectangular, the front corners of the lid set with gilt spandrels with scalloped edges, the side applied with a gilt border stamped with geometrical ornaments around tulips and roses, rocaille shell thumbpiece and key, crimson velvet lining, apparently unmarked, 24.6cm., 9 5/8 in. wide, 7.9 cm. 3 1/8 in. high;

the frames inlaid in malachite with rectangular apertures, silver-gilt mounted velvet reverse and strut, apparently unmarked,
