The plain slit ring, jue, is of the style of jade found in Liangzhu-culture sites. Compare a Liangzhu-culture slit ring in the Yuhang Museum, illustrated in Gu Fang, The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China, Beijing, 2005, vol. 8, p. 61. The three jade beads and the thin ornament are related to a set of jade ornaments of the Xuejiagang culture, published in Zhongguo yuqi quanji [Complete collection of Chinese jades], Shijiazhuang, 1992, vol. 1, pl.77. The thin ornament probably served as hair decoration, similar ornaments were unearthed from sites of the Songze culture. See a few Songze-culture jade hair ornaments illustrated in Gu Fang, The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China, Beijing, 2005, vol. 8, p. 20.
