Description

Calvin Klein Ivory Silk Knit Dress and Black Silk Coat, 1988

This floor-length ivory silk knit dress features a scoop neck and back with tank-style straps. It pairs with a floor-length black silk crepe four-button coat that features a notch collar and pockets. This ensemble was designed by Zack Carr for Calvin Klein’s 1988 Made-to-Order fashion show. Zack Carr was the artistic director of Calvin Klein for thirty years. Together, Carr and Klein developed the sleek, minimalist, and modern aesthetic that made Calvin Klein so recognizable and admired.

Generously donated by Chris Royer.
