Bob Mackie Ivory, Peach, and Lavender Silk Wrap Gown, 1982

From his premiere couture collection, Mackie selected this ivory, peach, and lavender striped silk chiffon and beaded wrap gown. This dress, from Mackie’s 1982 Resort collection which focuses on warm spring colors, features a blouson top, dolman sleeves, and a matching double rope cinch belt. It was selected to be styled on Lauren Hutton in a campaign for Revlon, Ultima II, photographed aboard the S.S. Norway.
