• Dial: white enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel hands

• Case: spring loaded cover to front decorated with translucent blue enamel over engraved chequered decoration, centred by rose-cut diamond-set foliage, the border and handle engraved with foliate scrolls, opening to reveal polished gold plate with inset watch, apertures for winding, hand-setting and regulation, engraved with movement details, case back engraved with a quatrefoil motif intersected by a cross and surrounded by foliate scrolls, the looking glasses released via a catch to the side, separate lever to handle to release hinged enamel cover
