4to (190 x 125mm.), PRINTED ON VELLUM, 96 leaves, a-l8 A8, 27 lines, Gothic letter, metalcut device of Pigouchet on title-page, metalcut illustrated borders to each page and metalcut illustrations, small initials supplied in gold on a red or blue ground, a few notes in a sixteenth-century French hand, morocco binding by Potter & Sons of York retaining an old gilt centrepiece of the instruments of the Passion, leaves somewhat rubbed (particularly the first and last few leaves), a few initials washed or rubbed away


A complete book of hours, with fine illustrated narrative borders containing scenes from the story of Judith, Rebecca, the Sibyls, and the Dance of Death, as well as hunting scenes and grotesques.
