Chancery folio (312 x 210mm.), 248 leaves (of 250), a*b⁸ c⁴ d–m⁸ n-o⁶ A–I⁸ K¹⁰ aa–hh⁸, roman type, woodcut initials, modern calf over old wooden boards tooled in period style, two clasps, lacking a2 (supplied in facsimile) and final blank leaf, H3-6 misbound, small repaired wormholes in first and last few leaves

Sabellico (1436-1506) was a devotee of Livy; he composed his own Ab urbe condita on the history of Venice, and composed a speech in praise of Livy. His commentary on Livy was first printed in 1491.
