8vo (157 x 96mm.), text in Greek, woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso (both infilled later in red), contemporary (probably Venetian) tooled morocco over pasteboard, border and central cross formed with a small ropework tool, stubs from two pairs of ties, occasional light staining, a few small defects in binding


The second of a two-volume set of Homer, following the first Aldine edition of 1504, and retaining Aldus's preface addressed to Girolamo Aleandro.
