folio (350 x 222mm.), parallel text in Greek and Latin, woodcut printer's device on title-page, with blank leaf after title-page and blank leaf nnn4, contemporary red morocco gilt with the arms of Jacques-Auguste de Thou and Marie de Barbançon [Olivier 216 fer 5], spine gilt in compartments with their IAM monogram [fer 6], gilt edges, some light browning, extremities very slightly rubbed


There is a note in English on the flyleaf, signed L.D., about the publication of this volume, which is a reprint of the 1597 Commelin Heidelberg edition.
