folio (283 x 184mm.), text in Greek, woodcut printer's device on final leaf (otherwise blank), red crushed morocco gilt in period style by Riviere, spine gilt with Devonshire monogram (of intertwined Ds) in compartments, gilt edges, spine lightly faded


EDITIO PRINCEPS of the orations of Aristides, printed with the Kallierges Venice typeface.


A manuscript note on the title-page indicates that this was once bound together with the Aldine edition of Isocrates.
