Description

Agatha Christie

The Road of Dreams. London: Geoffrey Bles, 1925

First (sole) edition, 8vo, original boards, dust-jacket, prelims toned, light spotting throughout, dust-jacket slightly chipped at extremities

Published at the author's expense, this collection includes two World War I poems (e.g. p.92: "that valiant passing, Which some call Death, others name Release").

Not in Catherine Reilly's bibliography of WW1 poetry, although 14 copies are located on OCLC. A very good copy of a rare book in the dust-jacket.
