of deep ‘u’ form with slightly everted lipped rim, painted on the exterior in a continuous wide band in underglaze blue with prunus blossom

Marchant & Son in their exhibition of Transitional Wares for the Japanese and Domestic Markets, June 1989, no. 39, p. 29.
