元約十四世紀 銅錯銀釋迦牟尼佛坐像

The Buddha is here portrayed with hands in bhumisparsha mudra, dressed in a diaphanous monk’s robe with silver inlay on the hems, seated in vajraparyankasana on a lotus pedestal with inlaid silver beading along the upper rim. The base is sealed with a copper plate engraved with the eight Buddhist emblems of the ashtamangala with a visvavajra at centre.
